iMpatient — Account Deletion Policy
You can delete your iMpatient account and personal data at any time, directly in the app. This page explains how, what happens when you do, and where to reach us if you can't sign in.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open iMpatient and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You'll be asked to re-authenticate so we can be sure it's you.
That's it. Your account enters deletion the moment you confirm.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify the following within 30 days:
- Your profile and account details.
- Your onboarding inputs and the life-area data you entered across personal, work, and health.
- Your messages to Alph.read™ and Alph.read™'s responses to you.
- Any health or wellness data we received from connected services (such as Withings).
We also disconnect any third-party services you authorized and stop receiving data from them.
What gets kept (and why)
Some information may be retained where the law requires it — for example, limited transaction records held for tax or audit purposes — and is deleted once it is no longer required.
Subscriptions
iMpatient subscriptions are billed and managed through your app store (Apple App Store or Google Play). Deleting your iMpatient account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. To stop billing, cancel the subscription in your app store account before, or in addition to, deleting your iMpatient account.
- Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → iMpatient → Cancel Subscription.
- Google: Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → iMpatient → Cancel.
If you cancel a paid subscription but keep your iMpatient account, you'll be moved to the Free tier at the end of the current billing period.
If you can't access the app
If you can no longer sign in (lost device, forgotten credentials, account lockout, or other reasons), you can request deletion by emailing policy@symbaio.io from the email address on your account. We will:
- Verify your identity using reasonable means.
- Process the deletion request within 30 days of verification.
- Confirm to you in writing when the deletion is complete.
If you can't email from the account's original address, contact us anyway and we'll work with you to verify in another way.
